With over 20 years of experience as a banking leader and entrepreneur, Mac is a strong believer in small businesses and the power of local entrepreneurs to drive economic development and growth. After co-founding a community development bank in the Bronx to serve underbanked business owners in and around New York City, he has continued that mission at Savoy. The bank has originated more than $500 million in loans to both early stage and seasoned companies across many industries, including technology, real estate, construction, hospitality, healthcare, apparel, contracting, retail, jewelry and manufacturing.
JOHN ARVONIOSENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
John’s banking career spans more than 30 years, including serving as a founding member and Chief Financial and Accounting Officer of Intervest National Bank, a publicly-traded de novo bank in New York City that grew to $2.4 billion in assets and was eventually acquired by a major regional bank after 17 years of operations. John has also worked extensively in raising capital and has held management positions with Citibank and The Greater New York Savings Bank. At Savoy, John has responsibility for all facets of financial management including budgeting, strategic planning, treasury, tax, investments, regulatory capital and interest rate risk. John is a CPA, a graduate of Iona College’s Hagan School of Business, and a member of the AICPA and NYS Society of Certified Public Accountants.
MAGDA SOUFFRONTVICE PRESIDENT, SAVOY SUCCESS TEAM MANAGER
Magda heads Savoy’s Success Team in customizing banking services, facilitating processes and access to experts across the bank to ensure you get the most out of our partnership. Honored by Crain’s New York Business as a 2019 Notable Woman in Banking & Finance, Magda has been with Savoy Bank since it opened in 2008. She brings over three decades of small business/retail/commercial banking experience. Prior to Savoy, Magda successfully managed several Citibank branches in Harlem and Upper Manhattan, achieving outstanding levels of customer satisfaction and business growth.
MARILYN RIGOSENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, CONTROLLER
Ms. Rigo is responsible for Savoy’s internal and external financial reporting and for ensuring the bank’s good standing with federal and state regulatory agencies. She has over 22 years of professional work experience in financial industries. Ms. Rigo is a CPA and currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
DONNA DABREAUSENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Ms. Dabreau is an experienced banking professional whose purpose is maintaining the efficacy of Savoy’s lending and depositing processes and documentation. She has over 23 years of banking experience in both the retail and lending areas with an extensive knowledge of bank operations and system development. Prior to joining Savoy, she has served various small and mid-size financial institutions.
